Will it always be free?
Yes. All the core tools will always be free: scheduling, notes, assignments, the student portal, and invoicing. Optional paid features may show up later, but they’ll be extras, not paywalls.
What’s the 1.5% fee for?
When you accept online payments through Stripe, we add a 1.5% fee on top of Stripe’s standard processing fee (~3%) to keep building DuetStudio. Skip it entirely by adding a Venmo, Zelle, or Cash App link to your invoices. Those payments are free.
What about multiple teachers in one studio?
Coming. The data model is ready and we’re building the UI now. If you’re running a multi-teacher studio, drop us a line at support@duetstudio.io and we’ll loop you in early.
