Seats (Pro)

A seat gives a teacher full access to their own students: they can add and edit students, schedule and move lessons, and upload to the library. A teacher without a seat is an invited teacher, who teaches the students you assign and asks for schedule changes. Owners and admins never need a seat. The studio owner buys seats on the Pro subscription and gives them to teachers one at a time.

Steps

1. Open Settings, then Plan and billing. Under Seats, choose Change seats.
2. Enter how many seats you want. To add seats, choose Show the price to see what you will be charged today, then Buy seats.
3. Open Settings, then Team, and choose Give a seat next to a teacher.
4. To take a seat back, choose Remove seat next to that teacher. They keep their students as an invited teacher.
5. To pay for fewer seats, lower the number in Change seats and choose Schedule change.

Good to know

• Added seats are charged right away for the rest of your billing period, then renew with Pro, monthly or yearly to match your plan.
• Fewer seats take effect when your subscription renews, with no credit for the rest of the period. Until then it shows as Scheduled change.
• You cannot go below the number of seats teachers hold. Remove a seat from a teacher first.
• Teachers with a seat send invoices for their own students only if you turn on Let them invoice their own students in Settings, under Payments. Those invoices are paid to the studio.
