How your students' information is kept private

Your students are visible only to you, and to the owner and admins of your studio if you teach with others. Families see only their own portal. DuetStudio does not share or sell your data, and card details are handled by Stripe, never stored by DuetStudio.

Steps

1. Teaching on your own: only you can see your students, lessons and invoices.
2. In a studio: the owner and admins see every student. A teacher sees the students assigned to them.
3. A teacher invited without a seat does not see family contact details unless the studio turns on Show family contact details in Settings, under Studio.
4. Families: each student or family sees only their own lessons, assignments and, for adults, their own invoices.

Good to know

• Sharing your calendar with someone? Turn on Show first names only in Settings, under Calendar sync.
• Every connection to DuetStudio is encrypted.
