Invite teachers to your studio (Pro)

On Pro, you can invite as many teachers and admins to your studio as you like. Each person gets an email invite and signs in with their own DuetStudio account. A teacher you invite teaches the students you assign them. Without a seat they cannot change the schedule or see billing; give them a seat for full access to their own students.

Steps

1. Open Settings, then Team, and choose Invite a teacher.
2. Enter their email and choose a role. Teacher sees only the students assigned to them. Admin sees and manages every student, lesson and invoice in the studio. Only the owner can invite an admin.
3. Choose Send invite. They get an email with an Accept invitation button. The invite lasts 7 days.
4. New to DuetStudio? They choose Create your account. Already have an account? They sign in with the email the invite was sent to, and they join straight away.
5. Until they accept, the invite shows in Team as pending, with Resend and Revoke.
6. Once they join, give them students. See Assigning students and seeing the whole studio.

Good to know

• A teacher without a seat takes attendance, writes lesson notes and assigns practice. To move or cancel a lesson they use Request a change on the lesson, and they do not see billing. They see family contact details only if you turn on Show family contact details in Settings, under Studio.
• The owner looks after the plan, payments, seats, roles and Transfer ownership. An admin can invite teachers and remove anyone except the owner.
• Removing someone ends their access right away, and the students assigned to them go to the owner.
• If your studio moves to the free plan, your teammates lose access, but their students and lessons stay. After you upgrade again, bring them back from Suspended in Settings, under Team, with Restore.
